El trapiche ancestral que utilizaban nuestros abuelos era muy importante seguir con el legado familiar, empezando a cultivar buenos recuerdos en su vida, con la esperanza que se  siga la tradición de los abuelos y se la enseñe a sus futuras generaciones, de esta manera no perder lo autóctono de algunas partes de la ‘tierrita’.  este proceso trajo a mi  mente momentos únicos e imborrables, pues recuerdó con cariño cuando ellos se reunían para hacer dicha actividad, asegurando que era más duro y agotador, ya que el trapiche de madera era movido por bueyes , caballos o manual , tarea que demoraba, pero no importaba, ya que se obtenía el producto para suplir necesidades “porque con la miel endulzábamos los jugos y demás- siempre que se hacía esta actividad también se aprovechaba para charlar con los amigos y familiares, pero con una copita de aguardiente para amenizar el momento, por eso se  compartía un par de tragos con los vecinos la  y familia”

Hablamos de El girasol cuyo nombre científico es HELIANTHUS ANNUS es una planta anual asterácea y para sorpresa de muchos no es una flor si no es una inflorescencia ósea una flor formada por muchas flores diminutas.
USOS:
Los usos de los girasoles van desde ornamentales hasta culinarios y medicinales.
Un uso muy famoso es un aceite especial para cocina, sirve  para alimentar las aves y para el consumo humano si no díganme quien no ha estado ahí sentado comiendo pipas de girasol y dejando el suelo todo sucio lleno de cascaras , con las pipas de girasol se puede preparar pan de harina con semillas de girasol                                                                                                                          Algunas veces olvidamos la belleza de la vida y se nos olvida las cosas más simples que existen, anteriormente en los cultivos de Girasol, nuestros abuelitos , más que todo las mujeres, ya que los hombres lo transportaban hasta los sitios de trilla, cosechaban con sus manos y garrote se sentaban en las tardes a sacar semillas y  mientras se platicaba en grupo, esta video nos hace ver cómo se van perdiendo muchas costumbres que unían a la familias y amigos por las tecnologías, se requiere rapidez de cosecha y no se puede competir contra las maquinas. Espero para recordar lo lindo de la huerta y no dejar que la vida moderna haga olvidar las viejas costumbres de nuestros abuelos.

CURIOSIDADES:
El girasol es una planta con muchas curiosidades entre ellas esta que dia a dia hasta la floración la planta sigue al sol este a poniente este ir y venir de la planta es para captar lo más posible las luz solar para madurar al máximo la flor futura y una vez la flor revienta el girasol ya no sigue el sol si no que sitúa la flor al lado donde más sol recibe para asegurar que las semillas maduren lo más rápido posible.
Otra de las curiosidades y algo que cautiva las personas amantes de los girasoles es que estas ya pasada la floración se retuercen o se doblan como si fueran gigantes que están cayendo.

RESERVA NATURAL LA ALBANIA//YOTOCO//COLOMBIA--LA ALBANIA NATURAL RESERVE // YOTOCO // COLOMBIA--

Albania Regional Forest Reserve. 

Located in the municipality of Yotoco, on the western margin of the Cauca River,

 in the upper part of the Western Cordillera, between 1,600 and 1,800 meters above sea level.

It is a forest relict that has been heavily intervened and divided by anthropic action. 

It is part of the forest reserve of Law 2ª of 1,959. 

Originally, they were 219 Ha due to deforestation, The forest has 80 hectares and is currently less pressed than before by the neighboring community. 

In this forest, the Mediacanoa River is born and there have been 40 water springs that supply the aqueducts of Miravalle, Rayito, Campo Alegre, El Delirio, El Crucero, El Bosque and the upper part of San Juan.

This forest is crossed by a high tension power line, under which the forest has been cut in a 9 meter strip. 

The presence of some lauraceae species are indicative of the economic value that this forest could once have as they are a source of income for the community, as well as a food resource for many species of animals. It would be advisable to make a sustainable management of the few resources that still remain establishing effective control measures to avoid the selection of the species present. It would be important that this forest was part of a project to recover areas to form biological corridors.

Since in this reserve is a great variety of flora and fauna such as Armadillos, Guatines, Dantas, Wolves, Anteater, Pavas, Parrots, Micos, with a huge potential of Birds of different species @saymonrojas

RESERVA FORESTAL LA ALBANIA-Localizado en el municipio de Yotoco, sobre la margen occidental del Río Cauca, en la parte superior de la cordillera Occidental, entre los 1.600 y los 1.800 metros sobre el nivel del mar.

Es un reducto de bosque que ha sido fuertemente intervenido y fraccionado por acción antrópica. Hace parte de la reserva forestal de la Ley 2ª de 1.959. Originalmente erán 219 Ha por la deforestación actualmente el bosque tiene 80 ha y en la actualidad es menos presionado que antes por la comunidad vecina.

En este bosque nace el río Mediacanoa y se han contado 40 nacimientos de aguas que surten los acueductos de Miravalle, Rayito, Campo Alegre, El Delirio, El Crucero, El Bosque y la parte alta de San Juan.

Este bosque es atravesado por una línea de energía de alta tensión, bajo la

cual se ha talado el bosque en una franja de 9 metros. La presencia de algunas

especies de lauráceas son indicadoras del valor económico que alguna vez pudo

tener este bosque ya que son fuente de ingreso para la comunidad, así como

recurso alimenticio para muchas especies de animales. Sería conveniente hacer

un manejo sostenible de los pocos recursos que aún quedan estableciendo medidas

de control efectivo para evitar la entresaca de las especies presentes. Sería

importante que este bosque hiciera parte de un proyecto de recuperación de

zonas para formar corredores biológicos.  

Ya  que en está reserva se encuentra gran variedad de flora y fauna como Armadillos, Guatines, Dantas, Lobos, Oso hormiguero, Pavas, Loros, Micos, con un potencial enorme de Aves de Distintas especies. Fuente @saymonrojas
